My Journey and Adventures

Upon making the bold decision to pursue a journey in tech when my life took an unexpected turn. I found solace in discovering many new forms of support through this major change in my life. This support showed that my new challenges shouldn't deter me; it should clarify my purpose. It transformed my career change into a mission, fueling my determination to succeed against the odds and build a future I could be proud of.

IT Certifications

My journey through the IT landscape took me from technical roles to the basics of cybersecurity, to the numerical confusion of machine learning. It was in learning to build dynamic web applications that I found a strong interest.

Recent Tech Event

Stepping into my first tech meetup was like walking into my first day at a new school, full of nervous energy and excitement. I quickly discovered a world not of gate-keepers, but of collaborators eager to share their passion. These gatherings became my reminder that we are all writing our own scripts to pave our paths, and it's far more rewarding to do it together.

My journey into tech was born from a search for a new path, but it was met with scary challenges and obstacles. Shortly after I committed to getting into the tech world, I was met with an earth-shattering diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in June of 2024. Instead of letting this newfound challenge derail my ambitions, the diagnosis ignited a deeper resolve to succeed against the upcoming challenges. Fueled by this new purpose, I enrolled in CNM's Deep Dive Fullstack program and am now building my future from the ground up. I hope you'll follow along on this journey of resilience, code, and discovery.
